Definition of electronic blackmail and its motives

 The Faculty of Physical Education, Abu Qir, organized an awareness seminar on electronic blackmail and its motives
The meeting was moderated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ghazlan
The symposium was delivered by Major General Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Abu Laila, Director of the General Administration of Information Technology - Internet Investigations at the Ministry of Interior. 
The symposium discussed the definition of electronic blackmail and its motives, whether vengeful, sexual, or material. Among its most important causes are weak religious aspects, poor educational level, weak personality, and lack of follow-up and monitoring of children.
The symposium explained a number of the effects of electronic blackmail and the stages it goes through, including demand, resistance, pressure, threats, etc., and how to avoid falling into blackmail and the appropriate behavior to deal with it through the hotlines of the Department of Combating Computer Crimes and Information Networks at the General Administration of Information Technology, in order to report electronic crimes. Pointing out that any complaint will be dealt with immediately and with complete confidentiality.

This is in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Mohsen, Acting Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs - Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al-Feki, Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel-Hakim, Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Hala Muqallad. Director of Expatriates Administration at Alexandria University 
 Ways of joint cooperation and providing care for students coming to Bahrain were discussed.
Dr. Kholoud Matar praised the efforts of the university administration and the faculties of Alexandria University to meet the needs of foreign students and overcome obstacles and needs.
  At the end of the meeting, the deans were honored for the efforts they made towards the incoming students.
