Professor Dr. Asaad Al-Kiki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Abu Qir, and Professor Dr. Islam Amin Zaki Abdel-Wakil, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, honored student Marwan Ashraf Abdel-Aal in recognition of his outstanding achievement of taking second place in the African Triathlon Championship, which was held in Nelson Mandela,
South Africa,
from April 1 to 7, 2025.

The meeting was moderated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ghazlan

The symposium was delivered by Major General Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Abdel Aziz Abu Laila, Director of the General Administration of Information Technology - Internet Investigations at the Ministry of Interior. 
The symposium discussed the definition of electronic blackmail and its motives, whether vengeful, sexual, or material. Among its most important causes are weak religious aspects, poor educational level, weak personality, and lack of follow-up and monitoring of children.

The symposium explained a number of the effects of electronic blackmail and the stages it goes through, including demand, resistance, pressure, threats, etc., and how to avoid falling into blackmail and the appropriate behavior to deal with it through the hotlines of the Department of Combating Computer Crimes and Information Networks at the General Administration of Information Technology, in order to report electronic crimes. Pointing out that any complaint will be dealt with immediately and with complete confidentiality.

His Excellency congratulated the graduates and expressed his happiness at this graduation. In his speech, Professor Dr. Islam Amin Zaki Abdel Wakil, the college’s dean for education and student affairs, expressed his happiness with their excellence, wishing them continued success and success.

Then the graduates gave a speech in which they expressed their gratitude to their professors who immersed them in their knowledge until they became graduates. They also expressed their gratitude to their prestigious college, for embracing them and providing all its capabilities to serve them throughout the period of their studies in the college, explaining the extent to which they followed the foundations and rules during the study period and followed the regulations, then this was followed by the delivery of Shields and honoring graduates.

The graduation ceremony for the 68th batch was held for the 2023/2024 academic year 
The ceremony began with the national anthem, then verses from the Holy Qur’an, then a speech by Professor Dr. Asaad Al-Kiki, Dean of the College
 The ceremony was performed by the college choir, and the ceremony witnessed the honoring of a number of guests and students of student activities
This came in the presence of Professor Dr. Fathi Nada, Head of the General Syndicate of Athletes, Mr. Sameh Al-Sayeh, Member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Abu Al-Abbas Al-Turki, Member of the House of Representatives, and a group of faculty members and parents of students.

The Faculty of Physical Education at Alexandria University organized a dialogue session entitled:
 "An Egyptian sports renaissance" 
Headed by Professor Dr. Asaad Al-Kiki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Abu Qir
The meeting discussed many important topics related to Egyptian sports, most notably professionalism, sports investment, and sports media

Dr. Asaad Al-Kiki, Dean of the College, stressed the importance of having organized legislation and rules to regulate professionalism in football and in sports in general, in addition to preparing the infrastructure for sports professionalism in Egypt, because this will enhance sports investment opportunities.

Journalist Tariq Ismail said that we have not yet reached the ideal model of professionalism, pointing out the necessity of transforming sports into a real industry through institutions that generate income for sports clubs.

While Dr. Omar Al-Ghunaimi, Vice President of Smouha Club, discussed the problems of professionalism in Egypt and the obstacles facing the clubs, pointing to enhancing ways to invest in sports in general and football in particular.

Representative Tariq Al-Sayed, a member of the House of Representatives and former president of the Olympic Club, pointed out the importance of developing the professional system, developing the clubs’ resources, and actually starting serious investments in Egyptian sports.

For his part, Dr. Mohab Abdel Razek, the college’s dean for community service and environmental development, stressed the necessity of establishing a complete sports laboratory to measure the abilities of professional players.
The meeting was attended by Captain Tariq Al-Sabbagh, former basketball star at Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, Captain Mohamed Nour, football star at Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria, journalist Hassan Rady, journalist Ahmed Bassiouni at the Middle East News Agency, and journalist writer Muhammad Ali.

In light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to activate the initiative (Bedaya) and the Population Unity Initiative, and to activate the community participation of universities in the population issue.

It held a workshop entitled “Study of proposals for preparing a diving guide for Alexandria.”
 Preparing a list for selecting young people for training in diving sciences and skills, as a gesture from the university to activate the societal role of Alexandria University by studying a demographic problem related to the scientific activity of all university faculties.

Within the framework of the interest of the state and Alexandria University in caring for the gifted and encouraging 
them to innovate, the Faculty of Physical Education Abu Qir seeks to care for and encourage students to develop the 
ability to innovate and be creative.

Today, Sunday, May 19, Professor Dr. Asaad Al-Kiki - Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Abu Qir, inspected the regularity of the examinations for the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024 at the college, in order to check on the conduct of the examinations and the extent of discipline, order, and the general condition of the committees within the college. 
 He was accompanied by Professor Dr. Mohab Abdel Razzaq Ahmed - Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Professor Dr. Islam Amin Zaki Abdel Wakil - Acting Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs.

It is worth noting that he won first place in wheelchair running at the Zayed Charity Marathon in its seventh
 session, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic,
 Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The college family extends its sincere congratulations to colleague Mr. Walid Al-Hadidi, and we wish him more 
victories and awards.
Prof. Dr. Mohab Abdel Razzaq Ahmed, Acting Dean of the College, offered his sincere congratulations and took

in this marathon.

This is the seventh participation of Mr. Walid Al-Hadidi, as he won first place 4 times, second place, and 
fourth place over a period of 7 years.
It is also worth noting that the Zayed Charity Marathon is a marathon held annually, and this year
 it was held in Cairo Governorate in the New Administrative Capital on Saturday, December 30, with the participation
 of a thousand competitors in various categories over a distance of 5 km.

Prof. Dr. Mohab Abdel-Razzaq Ahmed - Acting Dean of the College visited the college’s examination committees and 
ensured that adequate comfort was available for students to take the examinations of the first semester of the fall

 Yesterday, Thursday 12/7/2023, will be a symposium conference entitled (A Decent Life) in cooperation with the Decent 
Life Foundation. The symposium will meet with Mr. Hossam Mohamed, deputy for Mr. Mahmoud Shaaban, General Coordinator of 
Cairo Governorate for the Decent Life Foundation, and Mss/Israa Yousry, responsible for training at
 the Decent Life Foundation. Haya Karima and Engineer/Amani Ahmed Training is a responsible officer at 
Haya Karima Foundation.

The dialogue was moderated by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Faraj. At the beginning, a brief video was introduced about the 
beginning of the Foundation, its goals, the most important achievements made by the Foundation, the importance of 
the role of youth in volunteer work to serve their country and reaching all categories of the people, as well as the
 effective participation of the Decent Life Foundation and its role in the crisis facing the country. Sister Palestine,
 and during the dialogue, there was a discussion between the students and the lecturers on the importance of the role
 of youth and that their opinion has an influence because they are the largest percentage among the groups of the people.
This was attended by more than 200 students.

100 million health campaign

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa, President of Alexandria University, Dr. Saeed Allam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Mohab Abdel Razek, Acting Dean of the College.
The activities of the 100 Million Health Campaign were held at the college on Saturday, 11/18/2023, until Monday, 11/20/2023. All of the college’s members, including faculty members, supporting staff, and college students, benefited from the campaign.

The symposium also included the problems and effects resulting from addiction in various areas of life and the role
of the state to firmly address them in general, in cooperation with all segments of society and its institutions
to raise awareness of the dangers of addiction.

The Abu Qir College of Physical Education Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Dean of the College, 
opened a number of development, maintenance and construction works to serve the students and the educational
 process. The opening included the natural grass football field next to the student gate and the surrounding area,
 the boxing rings, the covered hall for wrestling, the throwing area for athletics, and bathrooms. New students next to
 the swimming pool and agricultural nursery.

In implementation of the principles and objectives of a national strategy for higher scientific education

- The Minister of Higher Education and the distinguished signing of the terms of the basic construction of 
the ten-year company between the University of Alexandria and the British University of East London in a planned 
“Training and Sports” program in cooperation between the Faculty of Physical Education Abu Qir in Alexandria and the 
West Ham United Foundation, the partner of the European Conference League champion West Ham United. and University of East London

Within the framework of implementing the principles and objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and
 Scientific Research, and supporting international partnerships for Egyptian universities, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, witnessed the signing of an agreement on the terms of the executive plan to establish dual degrees between the Universities of Alexandria and Alexandria National University and the British University of East London, at the headquarters of the University of Alexandria, Which began with the training and sports performance program.

The executive framework was signed by Dr. Abdulaziz Qanswa, President of Alexandria University, and Dr. Hassan Abdullah,
 Academic President of the British University of East London.

The Minister of Higher Education indicated that this cooperation comes in implementation of the principles and objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which Egyptian universities have
 begun implementing since its launch last March, praising the partnership that was signed between the representative 
of the sports community, which is the English West Ham United Foundation, which has a partnership with the partner. 
Academic University of East London, which cooperates with Alexandria Public University and Alexandria National University
 in the “Sports Training and Performance Program,” which will represent the beginning of this cooperation that aims to
 contribute to the preparation of qualified graduates in this program to meet the requirements of the local, regional, 
and international labor market.

Dr. Abdulaziz Qansouh, President of Alexandria University, indicated that this cooperation aims to create a group of 
dual degrees and joint degrees that support Egypt’s Vision 2030, and are linked to industry-related programs and 
innovation programs that will achieve educational competitiveness, especially at Alexandria National University, 
and provide opportunities for students in The local, regional and international labor market, and also cooperation
 through joint research projects, joint scientific supervision, and the exchange of professors between the two 
universities.
