The Quality Assurance Unit was established in the college by College Council Resolution No. (2), which was held on Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Members of the Board of Directors of the Quality Assurance Unit were appointed based on the organizational structure of the Quality Assurance Unit at Alexandria University, and its own secretariat, a financial officer, and a purchasing officer were appointed. .
The Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Physical Education in Abu Qir - Alexandria University applies integrated systems to ensure the quality of education, scientific research and community service in a way that achieves the requirements and standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation and achieves competitive advantages locally, regionally and globally.
The Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Physical Education in Abu Qir - Alexandria University seeks to develop the quality of the educational and research system at the faculty in light of locally and regionally approved standards through implementing and activating the activities of educational quality standards and continuous improvement to advance the educational and research process, work to raise the level of outputs for all programs, and ensure that they meet... College graduates meet the requirements and standards of the labor market.
The Quality Assurance Unit represents the mechanism through which internal evaluation and review are carried out with the aim of ensuring the quality of the college’s educational, research and service activities and the elements influencing them and improving their level of performance. This includes identifying shortcomings and obstacles, identifying good practices, and developing continuous improvement proposals with the aim of obtaining and confirming accreditation.
- - Documenting the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the college and the mechanism for updating them.
- Spreading a culture of quality among faculty members and their assistants, members of the administrative staff, employees, and college students in order to achieve excellence in performance and support the completion of tasks.
- Achieving the college’s mission and strategic goals by ensuring the quality of educational, research and community activities.
- Improving the quality of the academic programs offered by the college, which is reflected in the level of graduates and their competitiveness.
- Ensuring that the conditions and requirements of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation are met and that the college is qualified to obtain accreditation.
- Establishing a system to receive and follow up on student complaints and a mechanism to deal with them.
- Preparing the annual report to evaluate the college’s performance and quality assurance and submitting it to the college dean.
- Implementing the necessary mechanisms to achieve and maintain internal audit systems.
- Establishing a complete database for the college that includes faculty members and their assistants, college employees and workers, college students, college academic programs, academic degrees awarded by the college, descriptions of programs and courses, and identifying beneficiaries of college graduates and their requirements.
- Upholding the values of excellence and competitiveness in all areas of the college.
Gaining community confidence in graduates and proposing the establishment of new programs according to community needs.
- Raising the level of the college’s community participation to ensure the provision of distinguished services in quality and quantity to gain the satisfaction and trust of beneficiaries.
- Organizing the college’s performance in the field of community service and environmental development, and raising and increasing communication between the college and its graduates.
- Enhancing the performance of various departments through evaluation reports to manage continuous improvement and development to reach the required quality level.
- Establishing mechanisms to activate the internal and external evaluation of the college’s academic and non-academic activities.
- Communicating with the University’s Quality Assurance and Project Management Center.
- Actual participation in local, regional and international conferences organized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
